To a Prospective S& S Investments Client:
Several months ago we were in the same situation that you are in now.
We must have received sixty to eighty letters and postcards from lawyers offering advice (bankruptcy, I/we can stop foreclosures, etc), investors willing to buy our home at rock bottom prices, and some of the glossiest letters and brochures from “foreclosure experts” willing to help for larges fees and legal modifications (sales and leasebacks) that you could imagine.

What we could face – like lack of communication from the mortgage company; being passed from one work out specialist to another when we did get someone to talk to us and a myriad of other problems. She did not try to confuse us with special formulations and computations – buyouts, leasebacks, short-term rental agreements, dealing with unknown third parties. None of that. Just honest and forthright answers. When we called with questions, we always got an answer then or first thing the next business day. Communication is a key element in any negotiation.
